As I understand it you can trade any amount of shares on both the buy and sell side its the brokers who wont allow you to purchase uneconomical parcels. The Bot has a special arrangement with the broker regarding commission and as such will aggregate their trade to determine brokerage. Its computer driven and the parcel size I would presume is part of the algorithm.
Anyway besides being an irritation they have little effect if the share trades relatively well IMO.
