Hopefully the disconnect between the price of gold and the share price of gold miners is beginning to end. Some of the miners I follow in the US were all up sharply overnight: AEM (up 4.39%), Barrick (1.95%), NEM (3.58%), GDX (2.6%), and GDXJ (2.8%).
NST’s increase of about 2.8% this morning is encouraging. Its quarterly report is due to be released on 25 July 2024. That will be critical.
