Are you talking about those round features? They look like crop spraying booms. Some of them are anchored at a central point and get pushed around in a circle by the force of water. Very common in the US midwest. Not so common in Australia, where the booms usually travel straight, and form a rectangular pattern.
The field is fallow at the moment because it is winter.
