What many people consistently do not take into account is demograpic cycles and as secular bear markets typically wipe out a whole generation of investors it requires a new unharmed generation to propel a new bull market to new highs.
Due to the " fake" stimulus that was provided during the Covid years that propelled nonsense businesses like Zip and APT to ridiculous valuations the coming bear market will be particularly savage for not only stocks but also property as the 50-100 percent gains in property prices since Covid are based on "free money" and eventually that has to be returned to the norm. Uncontrolled immigration has simply delayed the inevitable, but as recession hits and many companies close and hospitality is decimated these immigrants will no longer be able to prop up tge property and rental markets.
