you tell us how a diesel electric sub is so easy to spot when it has to surface to breathe
it snorts ----------- meaning it's give or take about 50 or 60 feet below the surface still.
the point of the ship of the West coast was --------- it was a SHIP - a whole big bloody SHIP - big steel thingy ----------- and it was invisible
yet you believe that couple of tubes sitting up out of the water are going to be spotted instantly by an 'enemy' who doesn't even know a sub is there
fairly simple 'point' not many would miss
I suggest you read a little more also, if your kids are telling you that diesel electric subs are noisier than nukes ----------- ask them for their references perhaps eh?
