Why do you say I down ramped DRO?

I held the shares and always said that I liked the potential of DRO as a company but that they have management that was not trustworthy and I never changed that view. I never suggested anyone sell, just that they be wary of management. I did well out of the company, though not nearly as well people who held on. I just have a different way of doing things, which is to protect capital. I won't invest in companies whose CEO rorts shareholders no matter what the prospects, because more often than not that doesn't end well for shareholders. DRO appears to be an exception to that, but it's trading at more than 20 times sales so it is very expensive and will need to live up to the hype otherwise it will end badly for anyone late to the party.

I put my main criteria above and management behaviour is pretty high on the list (DRO passed them all except for management). I generally stay away from this end of the market for that reason, and my holding in AL3 represents a very small part my holding. My conservative approach to preserving means that I rarely have even 2 baggers and have never had even a 5 bagger in 40 years of investing. The approach is exactly the opposite of the get-rich-quick crowd that dominates this end of the market, and some people can't accept different styles. That's fine, but as I once revealed on that thread to shut up some of the many idiots on that threat, I have done well and build a good sized portfolio by adopting that approach.

I like AL3 and it will be interesting to see how it develops. I also like AL3 threads, they are far less toxic than DRO's.
