Dow up a little, S&P and Nasdaq down, Russel 2000 up a lot.

Inflation not as much as expected but still too high.

BHP to close Nickel business as it's costs are far too high and can't compete in the global market place.
Failed takeover bid of Anglo.
Enlist's Oz Mineral veteran as BHP management is causing cost blowouts at mine expansion. Oz Minerals was a beautifully run company, not at all like BHP.
BHP management useless as tits on a bull imo, why don't they get a good management and executive team?
Glad i don't own them thats for sure.

Aussie port costs rising a lot, pressuring domestic inflation, reducing our global competitiveness.
