People still assume the market is efficient? I always though that was something only silly academics in their ivory towers did...
I'd say the opposite, the fact it is so inefficient and irrational means that it is very likely a stock will never be priced where it should be and we need to live with that possibility (though it seems like the market is perhaps becoming more efficient). Even today is proof the market is inefficient, what news was released last night to justify a 10% return other than the market slowly acknowledging that this should be valued higher?
