    Yes, that's what I always thought. Most births are by caesarian in WA these days which is a shocking statistic.

    It's due any day now and although I know she is pissed off about it there's really no time to question the procedure thanks to the last minute timing.

    I will ask if she can check with the midwife to clarify if it's a random trial or across the board and which bacteria are deemed to be the ones causing the risk?

    If it was my choice I would refuse both options but they are using the fear factor of 1 in 100 to pressure her to comply. It might all be above board and genuine but I think the odds of that are higher than 1 in 100.
