The rise and fall of the tides happen, regardless of the overall volume of water in the ocean.

If you want to look at all those low lying Pacific Islands close to the equator, you’ll find that the vast majority of them are growing in size and not losing land area.

Even the ABC24 news has posted reports about them growing.

By the way, the reason given for the increase in land mass has been attributed to their healthy coral reef systems.
