Exactly how I explained in my original post. The sea route from Australian to Ukraine is not practical for obvious reasons. So they sent coal to Poland in exchange for
Polish coal the sent to Ukraine by train.

In any event it is a very small amount of coal
and a small part of the overall grift to deprive the west of resources and reduce our living standards. For the rest of your post, personally I can’t see the relevance to a coal stonk, of a famine 90+ years ago, voting patterns of eastern Ukrainian regions, troop movements etc.
