I can see that you're doing your research from your answers, I've been neglecting zip and have been looking for other stocks that don't require so much guesswork along with the large dose of uncertainty. I bought into zip a few years ago, tried to catch the falling knife and had to sell out a couple of times, and ended up in the red until recently when I doubled down and made my loss back, I think that I was influenced by the success of Afterpay which I missed out on because understanding the financial sector is difficult so I didn't buy in.
I don't like the idea of the RBA having any say on fintech rules and regulations, the obvious conflict of interest makes me doubt the probable success of zip in the long term, I'll just ride the wave in the meantime and practice some capital protection trading if need be.
