I recently heard someone comparing JBH & HVN and saying JBH had a better return because they aren't heavily invested in real estate. Some people consider the heavy RE ownership a bad thing whilst others consider it a good thing. I only like to trade HVN as it doesn't really go anywhere.
If you compare HVN & JBH on a 5 year & 20 year chart, you would probably kick yourself for choosing HVN over JBH.
You might be quite shocked when you see the return of each since 2003. Go on Google charts and choose 5 year and Max (Oct 2003)
