I'm all for the working class getting a fair shake, but the commercial construction industry has been rife with this coercion and bullying forever.

When the LNP is in power the building unions use 'safety' shutdown as their weapon of choice to make sure subcontractors comply with the EBA builder's commands and mistreatment. When the ALP is in power the demands on suppliers and sub contractors is more overt and even the EBA builders are made to bleed even more payments to members.

With the big QIF, taxpayer and industry super funded works in QLD, due to the impending Olympics, the unions are having a champagne period and the ALP is enjoying the reciprocal political 'donation' rewards
