I appreciate your response , but the truth is, and I know this for a fact, that women DO fart. Although, to be honest, I cannot recall my wife or daughter doing so audibly. My mother however (God bless her soul) was a champion, and so was Gran.
You could always tell when they were walking down the passage by the statacco gently reverberating off the lino, but to be truthful they were never nasty stinky.
