Looks to me as though everything is more or less signed. The commercial facility / bank will be awaiting WWI'S funding approval from the DFI before they come into the agreement.
Great news ahead, I have voiced August 2024 for sometime, given the update I am happy to give them until September 2024 / end of quarter to see this move along.
Probably the best update WWI has had in a very long time and rather refreshing to be honest.
Time to sit and let them knuckle out the final stretch in the coming 10 weeks and see where we land.
I hope the commercial bank doesn't make WWI open a hedge book on their gold production as a contingent of funding arrangements, I have seen that before and would prefer to see if the gold price and ZAR/USD can keep uplifting the production ROI without hedging. Just a personal opinion, not a fan of gold hedging / having hedge books open, maybe my luck but always seem to get better returns on the open market and the currency conversions as opposed to locking prices in.
