You're literally saying they're so smart and had all this secret information and know exactly what they're doing, when we literally know that the month after they bought in the price more than halved.
I'm honestly not sure if you're being stupid or disingenuous when you conflate their ability to make batteries with their ability to analyse an investment in another company, but obviously when I said the investment was stupid I meant the investment decision was stupid, not that they are a company which as a whole can not do anything including what they specialise in. I am not for a moment attacking their ability produce batteries. If someone makes a stupid decision, like, say, not taking an umbrella with them when it's clearly going to rain, it doesn't mean I think they are stupid in every way. Maybe they're a brilliant lawyer or truck driver or bank robber or con man, but clearly not very good at preparing for the weather. Obviously ATL made a bad decision when they bought $5M in AGY in May. If nothing else the timing was completely stupid, and if they thought they had secret information which made it a great deal, they were had (and hey, I wouldn't be surprised if they were seduced by AGY's trademark carrot dangles, and any other companies thinking about investing, or private individuals considering taking part in the next CR would be wise to consider ATL's burns and learn from their mistake, which will make the next CR more difficult).
A share price dropping by around 50% within about a month isn't comparable to 'flipping pips'!!! OMG LMFAO *facepalm*
And again (I ask you this as someone who literally accuses others of not answering direct questions)... Do you expect the next progress update to impress or disappoint the market? Or, will you continue to decline to answer, confirming that you expect it to be negative because you don't want to choose between being shown up as being wrong, or admitting the reality you can't face up to or be seen to acknowledge?
We all know it's going to be bad. We all know another CR is going to be needed within the next six months or so and could come any time. We all know the sector is in the toilet.
Kookie: I'm literally in the middle of a tropical storm which hasn't stopped for the best part of 24 hours (lucky timing actually, we had great weather for a long road trip to get here and had a lot of stuff to unload on arrival, the storm started just after we were finished last night). It is what it is, I'll be on the laptop until some time after the market closes. I'm not sure I'd call this a holiday, it's more long term travelling/nomadic way of life, and days like today are part of that.
