I'll answer this as i did reach out to Brett after his departure and got a reply. I never posted any details about it here maybe a). Because ide just be called a liar and b). im not sure it was appropriate.. But anyway, i thanked him for what he'd done and asked him if he thinks the current board shares his vision for the future of Sayona. The repsonse was to the tune of ' I had a broader vision for sayona than now'. He re-iterated the operating team in Quebec was the best in the world and that the assets the company has been able to acquire are world class. The next part i wont quote directly because im still uncertain of the appropriateness but it was more or less, once there is change which is needed among the board, then shareholders will be rewarded.

Now i hope this gives some idea of my stance on things, Ive been patient and assured that things will change. JB has said "things are changing". Since Bretts departure, 2 non exec directors were appointed and the necessary committees setup, 1 of those has now taken the reigns as full time CEO and JB returned to being an executive director, We'll need a new non exec director to take the place of LD and were awaiting a chair appointment. Paul Crawford's intentions are clearly that he wants to retire, but at the time of announcing it there was alot going on.. my thoughts are once theres a chair and another non exec director then Crawford will retire.

This is ALOT of change no? ive been patient and optimistic about the whole board situation because of the above reasons and understanding that this change, once complete, will be an entire re shuffle of a major company, something that isn't easy or quick.

I hope my thoughts on this while maybe not agreeable to some or right, can help some feel a little more at ease about this whole thing and not just jump on the 'Buckler is destroying the company band wagon'.

"A lot of change"? really?

It's just the reconstitution of the old New Hope/Altura club. Philip Lucas, Lucas Dow, same old same old. Philip Lucas was the lawyer who advised the financing that ultimately sunk Altura.

There is NO true independence, whatsoever. The true definition of an independent non-exec board member is someone who had absolutely NOTHING to do with Allan Buckler in any way, shape, or form, before joining Sayona.

And still NO independent chairman.

And I'm still waiting for Lucas Dow to speak up and tell us his vision for Sayona, what his GOALS and OBJECTIVES are for Sayona for the new FY.
