Experience is a marvellous teacher.

In discussions and at the AGMs I have marvelled at how many shareholders are like myself. Old.

Thus I know many of us are old enough to have lived a mobile telephone free life when a fictional character in the comics named Dick Tracy had a watch on his wrist that was a radio. This was at the time the ultimate in science fiction and considered rubbish by our parents as a result.

Old we might be but now through our lived experience we can compare the disruptive explosive change wrought by the mobile phone on our lives in real time and how this once science fiction idea has completely changed our entire World.

I did not have the money or the foresight born from experience to invest in the PC then mobile phone company Apple. Even one of its founders was found wanting in this regard.

When I first read Brainchip had a computer chip that did not generate heat and used very low power I was won over to its potential and as it has gone from concept to reality and my understanding of what Edge computing could mean I was convinced it could be my second shot at generational wealth creation.

To me Edge computing will be the science fiction made real that will like mobile phones change every aspect of our lives in years to come.

I know I am absolutely correct about what Edge computing will bring and as companies like Airbus express faith in Brainchip’s AKIDA technology I become increasingly confident that I have chosen the next Apple in Brainchip.
