    You say: "Takeover? Not whilst there is uncertainty over Tubatse but NOTHING stops X from entering into a JV or the like on Garatau and subsequently bidding for NKP once the Tubatse cases are deciced (or settled!)."

    If they are considering an eventual take over it would probably make more sense to purchase Garatau outright now IMO.
