My question is why do people keep referring to the 2008 GFC? Because it is recent and so they fear a repeat. Just as people kept recalling the 1987 Wall Street Crash in the ensuing years. They had to wait 21 years. Fear of another Wall Street Crash in the immediate years following played havoc with many investors' judgement imo.
