Block 9 is world class in my view, the best acreage onshore outside of opec+. The issue with drilling folded/thrusted carbonates is the complexity of pressures and fractures. Hence drilling with good quality new 3D seismic is essential which is probably what is needed before we return deep and drill beyond the limited vintage 2D seismic. I think the 1A&b can be developed initially off vintage seismic but new 3D seismic is required beyond the next few wells planned.

I don't entirely want to spill the board, but looking at adding new members and an emphasis on disclosure is important. I think hiding certain items in the quarterly report was not a great look and also emphasising that some drill pads were approved should have been in capital letters in an asx release on its own.

Thursday will be a great opportunity for shareholders to let management know that there is disappointment. That there is support on the direction but a need to be transparent on failures and learnings.
