The market has spoken. I was happy to see they hit carbonatite with grade. Reality sets in ... unfortunately.

ENR are plugging away and suspect they may have been quite happy to get these results.
I say they were happy as there were infill holes drilled on the western two of these lines around the 331 and 340 sites before assay results were back.

[I did miss an infill fence visible by the 7th. Subtle hint of sites on 80m centers along the northern part of it.]

Original drilling was on 160m (centers) along lines 2-800m apart. Grid south at -60 with holes testing the -50RL blanked around 60m down hole.

Short of putting up 4 cross sections I have generated this schematic composite section, Confuses me a bit so apologies.

Stars rough location of grade orange (lower/thinner); red (higher grade, good thickness), black no assays above cut off (0.5%; why send for priority assay?)
There is a blanket of patchy Nb mineralisation at 40-70m across the 1600m selectively sampled.

That high PXRF were chosen for priority assay is a reasonable assumptions. However, to assume they are the only high grade holes does not automatically follow. Probably does, but if they had to filter the selection it may not be a correct assumption.
The mineralised trend contains numerous end of hole intersections (p2) from the announcement. I take this to mean in addition to the EOH intersections in the priority assays. What these are will be revealed in due course - deep and or narrow; contiguous with upper grade are all possible.

For interest I have plotted a 160m wide swathe across Luni to represent 160m hole spacing.

Unless there are multiple intersections forthcoming then another potential satellite deposit to Big Brother Luni the Whale.

Sentinel interp was surprisingly accurate considering I scaled 160m spaced holes. White circles (interpreted sites) mainly under actual hole locations.

The number of holes mentioned in my last post was 95 of which the majority have been confirmed. For this announcement there are a total of 112 holes listed for Green for 9301m (Av 83m). Total reported drilling 160 holes for 13289m. Very likely close to the 20Km budgeted drilling.

"mineralised carbonatite complex thatbroadly follows a magnetic anomaly"Simplistic joining the dots, yellow line, suggests a possible slight cross cutting relationship to the magnetics.
Results on the line cutting the core of the magnetic feature will be interesting.
A possible interpretation is of a large multi-ring complex with today's results in an outer ring.

I did expect depths to be deeper in the "eye" of the complex but that does not appear to be the case. In fact hole depths increase in the north on the line with hole 362.
    351 at 6m?? seems anomalous.
Shallower depths could mean harder, less prone to weathering lithologies than carbonatite.

Hole 426 (collared ~60m south of Hole 340 (26m @1.3%)) drilled with AC to 200m!. Did they put a hammer on? IMO a fairly rare depth for AC.

South end of line in table above. Blue outline is Geol survey Lake Mackay quartzite. Yellow outline is fairly definite satellite interpreted bedded outcrop surrounded by later cover.

Interesting to see how the market reacts to announcements. Maybe only very special Nb hits may be rewarded now. Maybe Joyce or the DDH's out east.
I'm free carried so watch and ponder the implications of announcements and the fascinating geology in the West Arunta.
supposed to be a satellite pass tomorrow. 10 days sees a lot of aircore activity.
