I would venture that part of the IMU valuation issue is lifetime conditioning of the World’s population that there will never be a cure for cancer as all cancers are different.

I am not aware of any other disease that has the universal nickname ‘the big’ “C”.

Having like just about everyone I expect had people I was close to me taken by various cancers I am confident that everyone would have experienced the reaction of others when you told friends that our mutual friend has cancer. It is invariably obvious they expect the worst outcome. Cancer is universally feared.

What Professor Fong is doing runs counter to all conventional thinking and I believe he is fully aware of the scepticism that exists and this is why he pulled up Andrew and was at pains to make clear that multiple centres in the USA and Australia will be providing verified data not just his lab at the City of Hope.

I found this astonishing given how respected he is across many fields that he feels the need to make this point. I first heard of Professor Fong many years ago for his work in treating fatty liver disease.

He is as Lesley Chong described him in her first presentation with him the classic Renaissance Man. Or as some might say ‘the guys a genius’ in the true sense of this word.

It is obvious from these threads that significant numbers jumped on board when IMU ran wild and really do not understand the process and how long it all takes.

They listen to headlines every second day on radio and television hyping a new discovery by researchers somewhere or other and miss the oral fine print at the end where the researchers admit it will be 5 to 10 years before the breakthrough comes to market and are chasing funds to progress trials. The last one I saw was only last night concerning a possible prevention for asthma in children.

Look at every other biotech and try and find one that claims their invention is aimed at being a universal off the shelf treatment for cancer.

Imugene is a unique opportunity and if it succeeds fully it will literally do that which medical science had thought and taught as being impossible for over 100 years.

Beautiful data will change all that and every man and his dog will come running.
