This. I'm curious as to how promising the litany of failures were in their phase 1 trials. Not in any way trying to draw a negative connotation to how our phase 2 will go, but genuinely interested out of curiosity as to what their phase 1 data showed, how big the sample size was and what were their efficacy data points (ALSFRS, NFL chains, extended lifespan?). I'll need to go digging.

Also, I wonder why it appears some drugs get taken out early, even in phase 1 or 2, by big pharma, yet many, many others don't. I wonder what it is that big pharma is looking at right now with MPL and thinking we will make an offer when we see XYZ, or this risk is too great now because XYZ.
