It pains me to agree, but I think your pessimism is warranted. Alpha Test 4 took nearly 12 months to arrive at a conclusion that now requires Test 5 & 6. There is no start or finish time lines for T5&6, or when/what will follow.
The Helium project is meant to start in August. Let's hope it does.
Geothermal? All quiet on that front.
Shiny new toy? We wait and wonder.
