there are shifts to the far right in many places ------ it's possible that as traditional conservative parties are decimated (France, Australia, UK etc) and in a world that's hurting with both rapid change and cost of living pressures that voters only have two directions to go - to the left or to the far right - there's little in between

I said that as change accelerates and people become more and more uncomfortable that we would all probably swing wildly from side to side - that's happening in many places - Oz is trying to go to the middle ish - teals etc. but, again - the main conservative force - the Libs are decimated

we shall see what pans out

last time the far right had this kind of push in Europe - it took 20 million dead and years of blood to get rid of them
