Mr Minns said the opposition had no right to take the moral high ground and that it should co-operate with the construction compliance unit’s investigation.
“These contracts referred to in the media this morning were entered into in 2015. That’s eight years ago. The current opposition was in power during that time,” he said.
“If they’ve had a latter-day conversion in relation to the construction sector, that’s reasonable, but I don’t think it’s reasonable for them to be all high and mighty about the construction division.
“They were in power for 12 years and, as best we can tell, not much was done in relation to the construction division of the CFMEU.
