To say that NATO is not threatening Russia is similar
to saying that the USSR did not threaten the USA
in 1961/62.

Also should China/Russia induct say Mexico & Cuba into
the SCO and place WMD close to the US border
that that would not be seen as a threat to the USA but simply
a strategy to defend Mexico against potential US
aggression.

IMO the next 30 years will be interesting when
an emboldened China will likely have Nuke armed-
Nuke Subs lurking just off the US east and west coast#
just as the US has its Nuke Subs just outside
China's territorial waters today.

And can the US then object?
IMO no, because "what's good for the goose is also good for the gander!"
