JT ,I think you are on the right track,I have taken a position recently in THX because of the 2 leases they hold just to the southwest of of EMG's Beyondie leases. If you do some reading you will find that a few of the Doolgunna juniors are starting to refer to the possibility of IOCG systems in the area. Also Trevor Saul,a geo who has posted on the SRI threads mentions that Kumarina and I think Ilgararai mines were small IOCG systems.When I was researching this possibility I found it interesting that one of the common indicators for possible IOCG systems was low titanium hematite in the area. At that time I rang and spoke to Gary the then MD of EMG. He confirmed what I had read previously in company reports that the hematite at Beyondie had unusually low levels of titanium.There are many other "markers" for IOCG systems in the area.There is also the mother of all magnetic highs which covers most of the THX leases and also extends into EMG's JV leases.
Furthermore I also discussed with Gary the possibility of base metals at Beyondie and he confirmed that they had a number of targets in the area,remember of the 6 Beyondie leases EMG holds the base metal rights for 3 of them.
If you look at the top map you will see the magnetic high at Johnson's Cairn where SRI are drilling a 700m hole chasing such a system.Now look at the monster magnetic high covering THX's Marymia leases and how some of it extends into EMG/DEG JV leases.The very bottom map shows the Cu hits by DEG and their location in regard to the JV leases.
