Previous ETM posts have stated that rare earths cannot be economically extracted from eudialyte and that the technology does not exist. Check earlier posts by Ngo or Nro. The same point was challenged by GBB. They placed all their confidence in steenstrupine which has variable composition and is fine grained requiring flotation. There are two methods of extracting REEs from coarse grained eudialyte which have been demonstrated at a bench scale and a pilot plant. It has not been demonstrated at an industrial scale, but I think that is an acceptable low risk progression.
