A speeding ticket is a “please explain” (price/volume enquiry) issued that halts trading until the company formally responds. The company has to assure everyone that there’s no pertinent information not yet released (leaked) to the market.
They’re pretty common, and I’m saying we likely have nothing to worry about (re: leaked info), because the company recently released a (positive) price-sensitive trading update, and so the volume is likely a delayed reaction / fomo for that.
