Yeah, Trump & China seem to be the catalyst or dampner for eco cu climate at the moment.

On the one hand, China is not clear on their intentions for economic growth and they play it down. It must be hard for them as they are always pro-positive communistic growth in their rhetoric. We are reading many different versions. Today Trump was really hitting hard at the EV Biden reform and he said from "Day 1, we will drill drill drill" (fossil fuel) which is fair renough becuase they have a shit load and can tell all the Arab, Iran and Russian suppliers to stick it if they want to incease reserves on their own and make America Great Again. (He forgot the bit that whilst he was talking on stage today another 30 Americans were shot dead, but apparently they diddn't have a 'Divine Intervention' like the narcissist said he had).

He then said in an off hand way "I like Electric Vehicles, when there is a place for them". Correctly though he went on to criticise the latest debacle that cost US$3 bill to install 9 charging stations in some remote location such is the farce of reneable energy including wind turbine failures. EV remains a hard sell. Long live the USA muscle car.

CU is reacting to doubt about future demand. A huge drop o/night. It's off the boil again with all the doubt China has created about using Aluminium for wiring and the downtorun in EV demand and now Trump is 3 months off returning to office which is anti China and the green revolution.

We won;t know what's going on until December with cu or HCH. We may not even know by then if we have started 30,000 metres drilling. I mean it's a tight held secret unless CE knows where the grades are and is going to surprise us with some marvel and an early PFS (??)
