As I understand the above - Fresh ore which is what they are planning to prioritize, is more susceptible to magnetic, electrostatic separation whereas highly oxidized ore is not.
The process plant will target an ideal (engineering proofed) grind size - this = electricity consumption, consumables (ball/rod etc) mill, size of equipment & number of mills it needs to go through. Then circuits of spirals, magnetic separation, electrostatic separation. If you think of it like a continuous conveyor belt to get the material from the start to the finish whilst minimizing reprocessing (ie in simple terms if the crushed ore has to go through the circuit twice, that is 2 x the energy/water/reagents used). High magnetic susceptibility is a bonus (fresh ore) as this type of separation is a well known & proven process.
