Interesting comment by John Coles from the magnificently named "Australian Centre for Sustainable Business and Development" from the University of Southern Quenslanld. Must have a huge business card.

He suggested demand for R/Earths, with increasing applications everywhere, is likely to increase by 400% in the next 5 - 10 yrs.

Did make me think, we have been hearing a lot about China's supply restrictions, and China's increasing demand (potentially requiring most if not all of its own supply within a decade). Have not heard much about increasing demand however, and this is the first prediction I have heard of such a significant increase in demand.

If, in view of the above and the fat that R/E mines tend to take up to 15 years to get to production, and ARU / LYC / ALK are among the first to be producing, it may well be a fantastic future.
