AND of course Telstra has been told to faze out the copper network and ALL connections will be through the ill conceived white elephant known as the NBN. That way it has to be utilized, like it or not voters. In the process it is believed standard telephone line rentals are set to double from the now $28 to possibly $55 per month. This is just another example of Gillard's / Labor's obvious contempt for retirees and the lower income population, and the beleif she made known the the voters that in her biased opinion, retired people don't vote Labor. Gee, I wonder why?
