FishingAndBeer, I thought the one for one tariff was great aswell. The way it is worded, it sounds like any rise in retail prices will also result in an equivalent rise in feed in tariff(extremely beneficial in the long term), as opposed to a fixed price requiring continual adjustment over time.

My only comment on solar is that NSW recently dropped their solar feed in tariff from 60c to 20c. Lets hope other states follow and the 24/7 savings of a bluegen become are more atractive alternative in comparison with other technologies.
