How is "drill baby, drill" anti EV? That remark is about the price of oil. He wants to bring the price of oil down by more drilling. It has nothing to do with EVs.
I'm neutral on tariffs. I can see arguments for and against. For example, if the Chinese government is propping up the auto industry and flooding the USA market with cheap cars, then it's not a level playing field and therefore tariffs make sense. If they are applied without any rationale, then I don't agree. Trump has also said he will apply a reciprocal tax on any countries that apply taxes on USA products or corporations, which is agree with.
