    HI everyone. I have been in CFU for about 2 years and like most have read the many notices as various international power companies have bought the blue gen to trial. Two things in this notice inspire me which is the 1:1 feed in tarrif and the saving to the power company regarding distribution infrastructure. IMO this provides significant financial incentives and convenience for the power companies and consumer.
    In addition it fits nicely with a concept that has been gossiped about previously on posts whereby:
    Power companies bulk purchase units to rent to consumers;
    AND Consumers save on power as they generate excess power from the higher efficiency rate and sell this to offset their retail cost. Hypothetical questions - will the rental cost exceed the offset saving? - will units become cheap enough for a consumer to purchase? - will the reduction in carbon emmissions justify a government rebate?. In this pilot the government have funded the cost of buying and installing the units. I have no doubt government, consumer and power house will be keen to see the results of the pilot. Please dyor as my opinion is just an opinion.
