Suppressed spod price = harder to get financing to bring new supply online = a more favourable medium-term pricing environment. So for WR1 which doesn't need huge capex funding, and will likely be able to supply spod in 2027-28, these shenanigans are actually quite good, in terms of removing competition. Short term SP pain though.
