I am a partial sceptic- I want CC to hurry and warm the Melbourne climate as it has been bloody cold recently AND a top temp of only about 38C so far in 2024 which is amazing given all the other data.
The unprecedented/hyperbolic use of 'unprecedented' is a worry as huge fires and flooding have no doubt been happening for centuries we just have more people living generally and certainly in areas you mentioned earlier added to more firebugs lighting fires. - sorry to hear about your experiences due to fire.
But the hyperbole used to try and convince folks of many things these days is hugely annoying (eg Dan saved thousands during covid ).

However as a holder it is interesting to see where this 'green' development goes, non-holders love being sceptical and negative sadly and often add little or no value to the conversation as they only have one eye open. FMG shares have been a fantastic investment- could it have been better short term? - maybe- but maybe this will play out over the next few years.
The Alan Finkel interview is brilliant, thanks to #tony for posting it. Just working my way through a couple of the other articles now. Always good to hear from experts with obviously no political axe to grind.
