I am surprised it has held up as well as it has to be honest. They aren't going into potential negotiations from a position of strength (for a partnership) because they will likely need accept a deal with more upfront cash with worse terms (less overall ownership) because they will be desperate for cash again very soon and it will be clear they don't have the ability to market and distribute the products themselves.
