Saying that short sellers are the only ones gambling is nonsense. Investors are gamblers as well. If you bought at $5, you were gambling on the price of spod remaining above $4k/t. That gamble didn't pay off.
Hopefully you're joking about the share price being $7-8 without short sellers. If not, the level of delusion with that statement is quite astonishing. The share price would be where it is today regardless of short sellers. When you strip away the noise, the stock is still fundamentally expensive. No amount of spinning numbers can justify a $9b valuation with the price of spod at $900/t.
