Why do you think that Russia has not taken over the rest of Georgia

Your bigotry is blinding you to the obvious:
(a) Russia with a relatively low population has the biggest land area in the world
. so why would it need more land?
(b) Russia did not want NATO further encroaching its Black Sea borders

(c) Russia , after 17 years of failed negations with NATO (ie USA),
. decided to preclude Georgia, Moldova and the Ukraine by taking territory so
that NATO could not accept membership of all 3 while they had disputed borders

Its as simple as that and IMO, this war will not be settled until there is an enforceable
deal struck to preclude all 3 from joining NATO (Perhaps you can also add Belarus to that too)

Great Powers' National Security such as the USA, Russia or China will do whatever
it takes up to Nuke War to protect National Security ; otherwise there is an existential threat.

Your "land grab" theory belongs to the European colonial powers aims of 18th/19th C
and especially when applied to Russia today is absurd for the above reasons.;
ie: Russia has more land now than it knows what to do with it!
