Great post KA, However I do beg to differ with one of your perspectives.
Namely "...unfortunately it is more profitable to pursue actions which worsen the crisis" i believe it is the polar opposite! Replacing fossil fuels with sunbeams and wind power will save kerbillions. In fact medium term renewable energy has the potential to render dinosaur power obsolete financially, especially given the exponential technology rates of evolution. I believe our infrastructure capex will be eliminated by 2034. Professor Indo will know more about that.
This will also bode well for our Fortescue Leibherr marketing of ev trucks and excavators. Plus Fortescue Zero is accelerating technology developments at the speed with an F1 race car! It's a classic win win situation...most importantly for our precious Planet Earth's atmosphere, and second for the Fortescue bottom line.
