Simple, flick back the pages from the NT to Gens and it will take you back in time at whatever speed you chose and God said and it was Good.
I have already read the many fairy stories (if taken literally) like Adam and Eve being the first humans, the earth being populated by the initial inbreeding, taking snakes, the worldwide flood in which a pissed off God (with his own work) destroyed most of his own creation... and that list of fairy stories is only the beginning.
Good? God's backside, it was good. He was so dissatisfied with his own work that he destroyed practically the lot. The second attempt was not much better; he had to send his Son to fix up the mess. Apparently, that didn't work either so God has to send his Son for a second time.
I prefer direct observation to taking people who lived over a thousand years ago word for it.
Genesis didn't exactly provide much detail about the creation, did it?
