    Without the typos!
(something sticky lies beneath this keyboard)

Opposite sex couples don't own the word 'marriage' and more than two bonded pieced of steel do.

It is a descriptive word that is used in many ways and its synonym would be accurately described as a union.

The whole debate is naff due to the contradicions that are introduced in everyones argument.

    "Bringing together in holy matrimony'
    - lets see, beinging together is one thing, but to do it in the name of 'holy matrimony' means that the 'marriage' word itself is not the operative term to describe what has occured...nor is the word 'together'.

So are these two thing suddenly 'together'?
    Are they 'married'?
Or are they in a 'holy matrimonial union'?

    Any two things can marry.
Depending on whether or not they are human, of opposite sex or christian orientated are completely beside the point!

A marriage is a marriage and when two no longer become 'one each' - then they are married.
Which leads me to say that unless the two humans actually become surgically attached, they are not indeed married at all....so what are they in fact? So who owns the word really?
I say 'welders' and 'solderers' alone own the word 'marriage'...maybe cells too.

What an hilarious and condescending topic this is!
