A cool little anecdote I wanted to share. I have a client that is a paramedic and operates in and out of one of our major trial sites. I keep him updated on EMV’s progress for interest.
I sent him some screen shots of the Gen 2 device the other day. He calls me today and says that he found himself stuck in an emergency department with a number of other paramedics waiting on or with patients.
He pulls out his phone, gathers them all around and does a “show and tell” as he called it on the Gen2 device. They all thought it was amazing and would be lifesaving for the patients they come across with stroke.
It was interesting that one of the paramedics had a particularly large Samoan patient and they looked at his head and looked at the Gen2 picture and they all asked about the size of heads it could fit.
Of course I have explained this to him for next time and he is going to keep his eyes and ears peeled for when it starts trialling in their workflow.
I got a buzz out of this and just wanted to share.
