We needed the approval so that we can reshape A pit or redesign it to accommodate our future super pit model. Super pit doesn’t mean we are creating a design to show others we did it. Super pit design will be implemented so that it reduces our costs and next 20years we can keep digging and printing money.
Im expecting they will put their target between 90k-110k ounces (due to plant 1 recommissioning ended in aug) this financial year but few high grade pockets will change their equation over the year.
From Next financial year production will be normal level between 120k-140k ounces then we will keep expanding. Around 5 years time super pit might start to take shape.
