I agree that is probably isn't a 'rort', but I find it strange how high the standards are here compared to the rest of the market.

Daybue is going to generate over half a billion dollars (in AU terms) in its first full year in a single country/market. It is the only approved drug and there is nothing immediately on the horizon. The part that isn't proven if this is 2-3bn peak sales drug, or if it's 1bn peak sales drug. We're not being valued at owning 10-15% + milestones on a 1bn peak sales drug, let alone more than that.

2591 has risk and needs to through more clinical trials but the results to date re-risk the asset significantly. We've been able to show the results that were so promising in animal models in Humans with stronger signals and improved safety compared to a drug which ultimately got approved. Best of all we're funded to do this ourselves (at least for a few indications).
